Hastings Park Wayfinding
This outdoor wayfinding system stitches East Vancouver’s Hastings Park together with a unified identity that shifts the narrative from a seasonal event to a vibrant, year-round social centre and connection point to greenways and a daylighted stream.
Project Description
Public Architecture designed an outdoor wayfinding system that does more than just point the way—it stitches East Vancouver’s Hastings Park together. By collaborating with local businesses and community voices, we created a unified identity for a site that wears many hats. Our goal? Shifting the narrative from “the PNE” to a vibrant, year-round community hub. Using a signature “bright green” as a breadcrumb trail, we’ve made it effortless for drivers, cyclists, and walkers to explore everything from the new greenways to the daylighted stream.
