Amir brings more than ten years of local architectural experience. He graduated from the Master of Architecture program at UBC, where he received the AIBC scholarship for academic achievement. Prior to his graduate studies, he completed an undergraduate program in architectural science and gained international work experience. Amir’s experience includes collaborating with several award-winning firms on institutional, educational, and large, complex residential projects. He is an active contributor to the architectural community. Committed to sustainability, accessibility, and the profession, Amir has completed requirements for the LEED Green Associate credential with the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC); is an active mentor with the AIBC Internship in Architecture Program, providing guidance for interns working toward registration; and, is a certified Rick Hansen Accessibility Professional.
Amir is currently working on 1010 Expo Boulevard, a non-market housing project for the City of Vancouver.
