Hector brings a specialized focus that bridges the gap between contemporary design and the technical rigor of building rehabilitation. His expertise is rooted in the long-term viability of the built environment, holding European Master’s degrees in the Diagnosis and Rehabilitation of Buildings and Urban Revitalization. Prior to joining PUBLIC, he contributed to international projects for the Getty Conservation Institute and remains an active member of ICOMOS Canada. An independent scholar and frequent presenter on placemaking, Hector ensures our housing designs are grounded in both cultural value and technical longevity.
Hector is currently supporting Old Lillooet Road non-market housing and Multi-Use Residential for the Métis Nation British Columbia in Saanich.
